By Giggles Anderson
The trucking industry forgives
that drunken brawl
the vandalism of the bridge
and all that smack
shot into a favored vein.
The truck learns to love
the parent's nightmare
on a big bike.
The highways bend to respect
that young tyke who ran the town
as the Sheriff slept.
America thanks the drivers
who haul Our goods from
state to state.
Port to port.
There is life after
a series of bad choices.
The lucky ones find
themselves behind
the eighteen wheels
of a truck.
